Data Center commissioning should be scripted and performed in a holistic approach that begins early in the design phase of the project. Improper Commissioning can lead to a series of improper, if not disastrous, data center performance issues. This process, which reviews and tests the data center’s physical infrastructure design, requires a high level of coordination between the design team, contractors, vendors, and the end user. The commissioning "as built" documentation is your data center’s knowledge database. It is the most valuable deliverable in maintaining a data center’s ongoing optimal operation.
