A Critical Competitive Advantage in Today's Market
Data is the lifeblood of business, making the data center one of the most important tools of commerce. MDI Access Inc. will provide a data center solution that gives your business a critical competitive advantage.
Data center design starts by clearly defining how your data center will be used. We will help you evaluate your current data center needs with an eye toward your future needs.
MDI Access utilizes a proven, five-step process for all of our data center design/build projects: Define - Design - Model - Construct - Commission.
Data Center Benefits:
Reduce in-house IT costs
Mitigate downtime risks
Utilize state-of-the-art equipment
What is “CAP EX”? Cap Ex is short for capital expenditure. In the data center world, customers achieve their data center solutions by deploying CAP EX or OP EX. Capital expenditures are common for a customer that wants to own its own data center and mission critical infrastructure – Generators, CRACs, CRAHs, VESDA, FM 200, chilled water systems (“CWS”), and so forth.
What is “OP EX”? Op Ex is short for operational expenditure. In the data center world, customers achieve their data center solutions by deploying CAP EX or OP EX. Operating expenditures are common for customers who wish to pay for their mission critical infrastructure via lease rather than paying for them out-of-pocket with their own capital.
What is a “Build vs. Buy” Analysis? Companies that require data center services have to make a choice: do we own or rent? That is the heart of the “Build vs. Buy” analysis. If you are considering this question, get the professionals at MDI involved in your analysis. The “Build vs. Buy” analysis is very similar to a TCO analysis explained on our Developments page and deliverable of our Data Center Audit product.
